About Rowan Lake
Rowan Lake is renowned for
its excellent lake trout fishing. At Nielsen's even novice anglers take their
limits of these deep water fighters without the assistance of fishing guides.
In addition to the excellent trout fishing, northern pike, walleye and largemouth
bass, as fat as footballs, are also available.
Many avid muskie fishermen
believe that Rowan Lake does holds some of the biggest and heaviest fish
in the world. Having a 60 inch muskie follow their bait to the boat is not
uncommon. They return to Nielsen's year after year in their quest to break
the World Record Muskie catch.
